Our Staff

  • Nicole Edwards President of JGDR. Nicole is an RN at a local hospital and has been working with dogs all her life.
  • Craig Edwards Vice President. Craig has been raising dogs for 40+ years and when not working with the rescue works at a local college.
  • Judy Clymer Secretary. Judy has an extensive history in animal husbandry and is a retired RN.
  • Ronnie Morris Treasurer. Ronnie is currently serving in the Air Force when he is not working with the rescue and his own personal Danes.

Why Choose Us

People often ask themselves why adopt when they can purchase a puppy. Well the answer is relatively simple. By adopted you are giving a dog a second chance. Many of these animals were purchased as puppies by people who did not realize the commitment that a great Dane would take. Some of them did not realize the size, and a few found out too late that the bad habits giggled at as a puppy were not so funny with 150+ lb dog.
